YBL Mission and Vision
MISSION
Founded in 1981 in Birmingham, Alabama, Young Business Leaders (YBL) is a Board-directed organization whose purpose is to reach  and equip men with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.   Our Mission is to advance Christ's Kingdom in the marketplace by presenting Christ and His Word to businessmen and professionals and helping them grow as His disciples. YBL is currently operating in 4 cities: Huntsville, Alabama; Birmingham, Alabama; Jackson, Mississippi; and Cincinatti, Ohio.   Our strategy is to offer banquets, Christian Leadership Forums, small group opportunities, and one-on-one mentoring relationships to accomplish our objectives.  YBL's impact is made primarily by establishing men in the essentials of their faith, and equipping them to live out and share these values with their colleagues resulting in positive change in the business community.

VISION

Young Business Leaders of Huntsville, (YBLHsv), was begun in in response to a perceived need for a vibrant Christian ministry outreach to businessmen in the Huntsville area.  Being inter-denominational, this organization focuses on the person of Jesus Christ as the model of servant-leadership that we seek to emulate in the marketplace--as well as in all of life.  YBLHsv has sought to use the common  ground of the business environment as a comfortable medium through which to generate interest in the person of Jesus and the advance of His Kingdom.   It is our hope that professionals will incorporate their faith into every aspect of their lives.  Ultimately, this would result in a more positive business environment and greater ethical practices as we focus on Jesus Christ's agenda for the marketplace.

For individuals who express a desire to learn more about the Christian walk, we offer small group studies led by mature Christian men who can assist men in what it means to have a vital relationship with Jesus Christ and His plan for daily living.
